Simren holds a BA in Criminology & Criminal Justice and an MBA graduate from the University of Maryland whose work sits at the intersection of law, business strategy, and systemic institutions. With a foundation in pre-law and hands on experience spanning criminal justice, federal healthcare consulting, and technology management, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to some of today's most pressing governance and human rights challenges. Her internships at the Office of the Attorney General and a Public Defender's Office gave her a firsthand understanding of how legal institutions shape lived experience, fueling a long standing commitment to equitable policy and the communities most affected when systems fall short.
A certified associate in project management she has a strong interest in leading projects which align with her passions. She is drawn to GCPA's mission of pairing culturally sensitive, evidence based analysis with real policy impact, and joins the consortium eager to contribute her background in business development, entrepreneurship, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications to advancing informed, inclusive governance on a global scale.
